Come behind the scenes of our latest campaign shoot as we ask quick-fire questions to our on-set talent — Sydney based model, actress, and content creator Hailey Prats. Get to know Hailey as she shares her journey in the creative industry, discusses her passions and inspirations, and reveals the little things that keep her grounded in her fast-paced and colourful world.

PL: Tell us a little bit about your career journey and what you do?

HP: I have always loved playing ‘pretend’. Whether that was dressing up and taking pictures or memorising my favourite scene from a movie and acting it out in front of a greenscreen on my mums old computer. I started working various jobs from 14 but just knew being in front of the camera was my end goal but I wanted to wear more hats than one. I started as a struggling actor and then decided to sign with a modelling agency. I fell in love with the whole process. I adored being a part of the magic.

My curiosity and adoration on set led me to content creation. I can proudly say I took the leap over 3 and a half years ago and haven’t looked back.

PL: What's something you’d never be caught dead wearing?

HP: I truly can’t say anymore because every time I have said this I have ended up wearing said thing…and loved it.

PL: Do you collect anything?

HP: I had no idea I did this until I moved out. But yes, I collect glass jars. I just always assume I am going to need it for something and love how aesthetic they are. Like for flowers or flours! I also collect cards. Kind words from loved ones from birthdays or big moments and some from brands that wrote me a thoughtful note. It keeps me grounded and super grateful!

PL: If there was anyone dead or alive you wish you could have dinner with, who would it be?

HP: Amy Winehouse or Princess Diana. I am in awe of both. The talent, grace and tragedy would overwhelm me but it would be worth it.

PL: What’s your go-to comfort movie you like to rewatch again and again?

HP: This is SO TOUGH. Any old school Disney movie makes me ball my eyes out from sheer nostalgia. I watched Cheaper by the Dozen the other day with my sister and couldn’t stop crying lol. 90’s romcoms are also painfully comforting.

PL: What’s your signature perfume?

HP: Nightcap by Who is Elijah. Everyone who knows me or meets me for the first time comments on my scent since wearing it. Recently, any perfume by Tulita!!!!

PL: If aliens visited earth and asked you to recommend one dish, what would it be?

HP: ANY dish made by my equally beautiful and talented boyfriend at his restaurant CRICCA.

PL: Favourite place on earth?

HP: Tie between Mallorca, Spain and New York City baby!!! I have never felt so in body and awe-inspired as I did in these two places.

PL: TV series you’ve rewatched more than 2 times?

HP: New Girl and Sex and the City!!!!!

PL: If your house was on fire and you could only save one item from your wardrobe what would it be and why?

HP: I think it would be my pops vintage oversized brown leather jacket with paisley lining and gold detailing. It’s priceless and I would still look chic running out of the house.
